Some new dishes but we’ve kept lots of your favourites so don’t worry.

Starters or little dishes

  • Breaded Whitebait dusted with Paprika served with Tartare sauce – £5
  • Ciabatta bread with garlic butter finished under the grill with grated Cheddar cheese – £5 V/G*
  •  Ham Hock,pistachio & apricot Terrine with salad garnish – £6 G
  • Watermelon, feta & fennel salad  – £6 V/G
  • Crab Tian – curried Crab & rice with tomato salsa – £6 G
  • Bruschetta of diced tomato, basil & mozzarella – £5 G*
  • Chicken terrine – with tarragon & leeks on mixed leaves – £6 G*

Sharing platters 

  • Riverside Combo: Mozzarella dippers, onion rings, breaded mushrooms, potato wedges, garlic bread,  mayo & bbq sauce – £15 V
  • Seafood Platter: Peeled prawns in Marie Rose sauce, breaded whitebait,cod goujons &  Scampi with brown bread & butter  & Tartare sauce –  £15
  • Cheddar Gorge’ous Platter: Mature Vintage Cheddar , Somerset Brie, Home baked ham, Pork Pie, Apple & Cider relish, coleslaw & warm crusty bread – £15 

 

Salad bowls

  • Roasted vegetables, couscous & basil pesto drizzle – £12  VG/G 
  • Heritage tomatoes, fresh basil & feta with a basil pesto drizzle – £12  V/G
  • Lemon peppered chicken strips with bacon & avocado salad – £12

The grill (not available to take away)

All Grill dishes are served with grilled tomato,  mushroom, homemade onion rings & chips

Burgers

  • Riverside beef burger ,  tomato relish – £10 G*

  •  Sea Bass fillet served on crushed new potatoes with tender-stem broccoli, Green beans & a Clam butter sauce   – £15 G

Traditional Roast Dinner – served from midday on a Sunday until we run out!

Our roasts are served with all the traditional accompaniment, roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire pudding, a selection of vegetables including Cauliflower Cheese and plenty of gravy – just like mum makes!
